She loves her train! At any given time you can hear, "ch ch ch ch ch," at our house these days.
She first discovered a train at our new book store that has a huge Thomas the Train table set up for little hands. I didn't think we were ever going to get to leave!! When we got home, I pulled this much simpler version from IKEA out and it's is hands down her new favorite.
Hanging out on the deck after naptime.
When Daddy's away, we need specific distractions in the late afternoon. She loved playing with the play-doh and wearing her apron. A particular favorite was the "pasta maker" she loved watching and helping make long shaped tubes over and over. She also liked using the fork to get the play-doh out of the little cans.
Another new experience! The jump zone is a big hit They have the cutest bounce stuff-I particularly enjoyed this "toddler" area. Dragons and snails and alligators and flowers. Totally fun when mommy can stand so close and watch the fun! We had fun going with our friends and having them to play with while we were there.
We had a FOM (families of Mankin Media Systems) night Friday night. Three of the four families gathered to see "the most famous mouse in North America" (direct quote from their advertising,) skee ball and pizza.
I funniest thing all evening was Megan and Mallory at their impromptu dance party. HI-LARIOUS (this still doesn't capture any of the good action-I was laughing too hard 🙂
When did my niece turn into a little girl!?!
That’s so great! Bill will be ecstatic! You know we already have a 4 or 5 car wooden train for her, just no track.
