Two weeks isn't long enough. I am just beginning to know and appreciate you. The narrowness of the floorplan, the windows open all day and night, the alley & garage, the back patio and front porch, the outdoor fireplace. The BEAUTIFUL kitchen and bathroom. The fun sectional sofa and square coffee table. Wireless internet and plasma TVs with PVR. Getting to meet and live with Lydia for a few days. I adore that you are so close to the ocean. A short walk to the sand,
to the waves, to the colorful glimpses of humanity, to the pier, to
downtown and all of it's delights. The sunshine is different here. The
light a different color than in Tennessee. More vibrant, colorful, the
air even is different.
Seriously, the past two weeks have been wonderful. Thank you sweet husband for bringing Mallory and I along on your adventure. We have LOVED getting to hang out in cool-ville, play at Disney, and hang with sweet friends.
A grand, wonderful two weeks. Two weeks in which I haven't posted much. I kinda felt weird about broadcasting to the world that we were not living in our home for those two weeks. So I have posted sparingly and forced my mother to gnaw on the inside of her cheek (ok-that's what I do when I'm bored). But on the eve of our departure, I'm better with posting now. Things will be different very soon. Lots of posts about our adventures and a few (ha) pictures to accompany the words.
You know she is happy because she knows what to expect from the numerous "field trips" you have taken her on previously and having an audience "to boot!" What GREAT photos!!!
Oh! That first carousel photo is precious!
