• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

fun family shoot

Web 30

I haven't done much shooting for others lately as we have been out of town practically non-stop all spring. I am so glad this family was flexible enough that I could come hang out one Saturday afternoon. I hope they are as happy as I am with the results. Thanks for having me out, I hope your house gets fixed super fast!

magna-doodle

Lately Mallory loves her "magna-doodle" I have no idea what these are actually called, ours has no name brand and came from the $0.88 bin at Wal-Mart. I love that she is getting so much play time from this sweet classic toy. She can scribble, erase her scribbles, and move the stylus in and out of its holder. On the plane, in the car, in Daddy's lap she loves to play with it.

tricycle

For Mother’s Day "I" got a tricycle, one that has a push and steering column for the parent. It’s great, I can push and steer without injuring myself and Mallory LOVES it. She could ride all day long and still want more. The first time we showed it to her, we rode 20-30 minutes and then (poor planning on my part) it was time for bath. She cried and cried like her heart was breaking, "more please," cry, "more please" more crying. But she did come inside without me having to pick her up and carry her. So kudos for her!

The following day we rode all around the neighborhood. Up and down the street, again and again. This is the signal and request for,  "more pushing Mommy." She leans back and points to the handle and makes her "more" noises.
