• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

This little girl LOVES bubbles. Possibly her favorite part is dipping the wand into the bubble solution. Recently she has added actually blowing on the wand and getting results! The bubbles are few and far between, but nevertheless, she can blow bubbles!!

She has a tendency to get quite a lot of bubble solution in her mouth. Coughing bubbles is a pretty neat trick too ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s been several weeks since this little girl has seen a carousel. Seeing it this morning generated instant reactions. Signing please, saying please, babbling, pointing, leaning out of Mimi’s arms towards the wonderful carousel. As I know no grandparent who can resist this baby girl (no I can’t usually either), we totally went for a ride.

How cute! I love it! I’m dying to get a haircut. I think I’ve worn a ponytail every day for too long. You’re inspiring me.

Okay you have to be seriously talented to take pics like that. I am so cracking up. The hairdo could not be any cuter.

Love it!! I am aching for short hair again, I’ve had the mommy ponytail way to long! It’s just so easy with the little guys, maybe this is what I needed for some inspiration.

Children’s Parade

Happy Birthday America.

We celebrated by participating in our town’s annual children’s parade. Such FUN! Yesterday Julie and I decorated their wagon for the two little ones. I am so glad I took pictures of the wagon decked out in red, white and blue yesterday when we finished. Today we learned that crepe paper disentagrates when wet. Yes, that’s right, it rained. Not a light drizzle, a “it’s raining cats and dogs” downpour. Mallory got soaked to the skin, was shivering, had goose bumps, and blue lips by the time we left. But we had a LOT of fun. Seriously. Lots of laughing and watching other people and general silliness. We even had one grandmother tell us Mallory should win a prize for being the most wet (soaked to the skin) and still having a great time. We are already looking forward to next year’s parade.

Cute, cute, cute. She didn’t seem to mind the rain, perhaps hair washing will become acceptable as well –just tell her she’s in a parade ๐Ÿ™‚
