We discovered a new park after naptime today. A place to swing & slide, to run and laugh, to meet new friends, and trees to enjoy.
A delightful afternoon indeed.
Fall means lots of things to me. Cooler temperatures, chrysanthemums, long sleeves & saying good-bye to flip-flops for awhile. The last three years fall has signaled a trip to a local florist who has a pumpkin patch. The first year I was VERY pregnant and I think we went the day before we headed to the hospital. Last year we took our friends with us and Sunday Mallory and I took Ben to see the pumpkins.
I discovered that you are getting your 2 year molars! The bottom two are almost all the way in & one of the top molars has poked through. Go you!!
You are also talking up a storm. Lots of words together & bringing up your own subjects. Asking about lots of family members, friends and a lot about Daddy.
Last night you asked to go to the mall! I was stunned, but only until you immeaditaly asked about the park. We told you the play area in the mall was an indoor park while we were in Houston last week. Now, you are asking for it without us mentioning it!!
It is such a joy to watch you grow!
Two words: GREAT Job!!
You and I drove the 890 miles each way to Nonnie and Poppy's in Houston. You were awesome. We left after school on Tuesday, drove to MS. Spent a very short night in a hotel. Started driving at 4:45am Wednesday. This was your choice as I tried in vain to cajole you back to sleep after you woke at 3:30am. We finally arrived all in one piece.
On the way to Houston you watched Finding Nemo 3-4 times and Aristocats, 101 Dalmations, and countless Little Einstines. You read books, played with Eyore and Woof Woof, ate lots of snacks and set a new record for lollipop consumption.
Coming home you only wanted to watch Little Einsteins, and read books. You slept MUCH better in the hotel and while I am thrilled to be home, I would do it again! You are a great little travel companion.
I am so impressed. Next time lets try it with 3 more girls ๐
Another leaning palm tree! Looks like fun and warm there. Enjoy.
