I caught her reading all by herself. Paper pages are a new since her birthday around here. This was taken before the California trip. I can only hope that she will soon remember how to play & read by herself.
We spent All Hallows Eve with friends in CA. Seriously fun times. Mallory started the even VERY unsure about the whole deal. I think Ben or I held her constantly the first hour (this was just dinner at a (new) friend's home.)
Possibly the only time she wasn't being held during dinner.
the only picture of the two of us–we are the ones wearing glow bracelets. Possibly the best $1 purchase I've made recently.
By the end of the evening…I have no idea how long we wandered around the neighborhood…she kept saying, "more trick, more treat" after each house. Totally making Ben and I (& everyone who heard) laugh.
Thank you sweet friends for including us in your AWESOME Halloween plans! We love you.
It wouldn’t have been the same without you! :o)
What great pictures! The kid’s were excited to see their pumpkins. Thanks for being there, it was fun wandering around the neighborhood with you–hopefully our large group of noisy kids didn’t scare Mallory too much. They tend to take over any room or house they enter.
I saw a picture of a ladybug tutu, and the rest is history. I even purchased a headband but you refused to wear it. We wandered around downtown Huntington Beach getting these. Some very cool doors! You look seriously cute. You love twirling around and people telling you how cute you look. Pretty funny to watch, but I can't disagree!
I can’t believe how big she’s gotten! And SO CUTE! And you were at Disney again???
You have a new favorite attraction at Disneyland. Tarzan's Treehouse, formerly the Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse. Can you say three+ flights of stairs?!?!?
You and I did this the first time while your Daddy rode Indiana Jones
and the Lost Something. You loved it so much we climbed up and down
twice and played at the end for quite a while. Ben had to come find us
you were so enthralled.
You adore that there is a baby, and also that the gorilla is holding/taking care of the baby.
In fact, you love this attraction so much, that you insist on taking pictures of it yourself.
You talked about the tree all the way to Disneyland the next day. It took me a while to understand you were not asking for "cheese" but rather insisting we go to the "tree" first thing.
Thank you for teaching me that life is one big adventure!
Ben had another trip to Huntington Beach scheduled and you know what that means……family time at Disneyland. I am thankful for these sweet days just the three of us. I adore watching Ben and his little girl together. They melt my heart and keep me thankful.
Mallory wanted NOTHING to do with Minnie, she almost couldn't handle my being so close to her.
You are such wonderful parents. I’m glad I could share in some of the fun of your visit! :o)
