Our sweet friends are playing the waiting game. Waiting on the heat to get fixed in their home. Waiting on the contractions to be strong enough to go to the hospital. Waiting to hold their firstborn close to their hearts–snuggled in their arms.  We love you guys–prayers and thoughts and love headed in your direction 🙂

Went to see this with Ben and Jeff yesterday—it’s great! I liked it tremendously and totally fell in love with that little Lucy! Make sure your holidays include this magical (hehe) movie. And yes, I did shed a tear or two at appropriate moments, but go see it anyway!

The high for today is 33 degrees (Fahrenheit) Sunny and crystal clear and COLD!!

My camera was sent back to Canon yesterday for a tune up–I guess
after about 50,000 pictures, it’s OK to need an oil change. In the
meantime, I am dreaming about this beautiful thing. Won’t happen
anytime soon-maybe not even in the future, but wowzers! It is full
frame (most digital SLR camera only use a percentage of the sensor(like
the film) and as a result the lenses are not true 28mm or 50mm) Maybe
that makes sense.  At any rate–this is way cool and has 9 focusing
spots as opposed to my current of 7. As long as I am dreaming…The camera needs a lens right? Canon 24-70 2.8. In English–super fast and will take great shots in low light. Both are firmly in the "dream on" category but Santa needs a list right!??!
