• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

In-laws.

My sweet sister-in-law Alice and her sons requested some photos for husband/dad for Christmas. Here are the results, they are pretty cool-imop! A good camera is a joy forever 🙂

I love this family! They are beautiful in both b/w and color. Merry Christmas Mankins.

These are beautiful! I LOVE the colored one the best though. She has such gorgeous hair & skin..you need to show it off! :o)

I love all of them. I like the B&W of her by herself. And yes, a good camera is a good thing to have, but it is also the knowledge and technique of the person behind the viewfinder. Great lighting, wonderful framing..great stuff!

Awesome. Is that with your new lens? I agree with Krista: cameras don’t take great pictures, photographers do.

Tour of Texas.

Storyboard20lubbock_crop_sm_3

Our annual Christmas season Tour of Texas began with a 1200 mile drive to Lubbock. After a night spent in Texarkansas and dropping Ben & Jeff off in Abilene, I surprised my sweet "farm Meme" and her husband at home in west Texas. I haven’t been able to visit in too long and it was great to see Meme. We had a lovely dinner with my parents, aunt & uncle at a local steak house and shared a few stories before I climbed back in the land yacht for the return trip to Abilene.

happy girl.

Santa has arrived early in the form of a great "cabinet guy." He fixed the crooked cabinets and installed the fun hardware for the kitchen. "It’s beginning to look like Christmas," or at least like the Christmas projects are being accomplished!
