Whaley fun
sister and friends
We haven’t fallen off the earth, but we are still battling to get our phones/DSL to work again. I had no idea my hormones could be attached to having Internet access! Waterworks (i.e. tears) are SO NOT fun for me. Other people can cry, stress, drip, leak, wail, mourn out loud, no problem. I can take it and deal, but I can’t stand doing it myself. It makes my head hurt and face red and nose stuffy…and it just doesn’t seem to help at all. Seriously, who knew growing baby girl was going to be such a wild ride!!?!?!? I mean really….crying over Internet access good grief!!!
In other happier news: the beautiful crib is now assembled and sitting quietly waiting for a mattress, some comfy bedding, and an occupant. It kinda looks like a pretty baby jail right now–sorry, no pictures as I am still posting from school. Maybe soon….
That reminds me…the tears and hormones…one word of very important advice…
Unless you want to sound like a blubbering idiot…NEVER write thank-you notes for the first two weeks after birth! Just wait until you’ve gotten a little more sleep.
Yea well I saw/see/heard crying over much less so don’t feel too bad! Rollercoaster indeed! Just make sure Ben knows that he can’t do anything to help…NOTHING!

I am reporting from ITMM as our home phones and DSL are on the fritz. This weekend saw lots of baby changes at our house. We purchased a crib (not yet assembled) and with some help from Jenn and Nathan, painted both the nursery and one of the bathrooms upstairs. The crib is finished in a darling "antico white" and the walls are a peaceful, calming "Ocean Kiss" by Bhear. The bathroom is now lavender with many butterflies floating about. Next on the list is assembling the crib that didn’t come with instructions ๐ wish us luck!! *Pictures to follow when my computer will talk to the world again!!
anxiously awaiting to works of art! See you Saturday.
I am finally in a happy ecstatic place with planning for our little girl. For many moons it seemed like the day when we’d KNOW definitively {boy/girl} would never come. And I just couldn’t get emotionally attached to both a boyish and girlish nursery. Now we KNOW–according to the ultrasound technician, 100% sure, and I am thrilled to know ๐ Grinning from ear to ear and squealing about every 15 minutes (give or take) over the cuteness of the next nursery discovery. If you want more details…{expecting} is the place to go. Happy Friday!!
