• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

Can you believe????

that it’s July? I can’t. Wow–where has the year gone? It’s amazing that we are seven months pregnant and looking forward to a last "adults only" trip before Baby Girl is born. Beautiful waters here we come–I’m hoping it will rain in Nashville while we are gone and that we take the beautiful sunshine with us. The fourth of July is this week-Midsummer’s Day has come and gone-that’s the longest day of the year ๐Ÿ™‚ We start a new class of students at ITMM the week after the 4th. And beginning that same we I get to go to the doctor every two weeks! Can you stand the excitement?!?!?

Happy Wedding Weekend to my NYC cousin and his new bride. Many blessings on you both and your marriage! We are thinking about you all–

Thank you Deloris for bringing the Ben’s beautiful baby quilt. It was made by Olive Burch just for Ben when he was a baby. I am so glad Ben’s daughter will to use it too-gently of course ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, I love quilts! Em is using the quilt that my mom made for me while she was preggo. 31 years old and still looks and feels great! They just don’t make ’em like that anymore!

family visit

We are hosting Ben’s family this weekend. It was brother Jeff’s birthday and the only time we could hang out with Alice and company.  Went to the zoo, played with Lincoln Logs, visited the nearby Saturn plant, we got to see Uncle Sam and Aunt Patty from Atlanta, hold the newest addition to the family-Baby Drew-and of course, SkipBo was played. The last of the tribe goes home tomorrow, the house will seem very quiet after they are gone.
