• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

    I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

    I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

Those are super! Thanks for the inspiration. I have been folding fabric over the edge, and the ribbon is a much better idea! Megan will of course need some new ones.

my random early morning thoughts

It’s not as early now as when I woke up-but I am thinking about this quote I found

Don’t ask yourself what the world needs;
ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Harold Whitman

Lately, I seem to be pondering on the subject of gifts. Spiritual ones that is-what we are each uniquely qualified to do. What I am uniquely qualified and perhaps even commissioned to do-daily, weekly-with this time we call the everyday and life. No conclusions as yet, but moving towards thoughtfulness at least.

Hope you have a great Wednesday!

I adore my sister-in-law. She called today for a quick chat and I appreciate her so much. I appreciate her openess and willingness to discuss-whatever needs discussing. I love that she loves her family. I love how she loves her boys-all three of them. I love and admire her dedication and am inspired by her determination. Thank you Alice, for being such a wonderful woman and my absolute favorite sister-in-law!!!
