We haven’t fallen off the earth, but we are still battling to get our phones/DSL to work again. I had no idea my hormones could be attached to having Internet access! Waterworks (i.e. tears) are SO NOT fun for me. Other people can cry, stress, drip, leak, wail, mourn out loud, no problem. I can take it and deal, but I can’t stand doing it myself. It makes my head hurt and face red and nose stuffy…and it just doesn’t seem to help at all. Seriously, who knew growing baby girl was going to be such a wild ride!!?!?!? I mean really….crying over Internet access good grief!!!
In other happier news: the beautiful crib is now assembled and sitting quietly waiting for a mattress, some comfy bedding, and an occupant. It kinda looks like a pretty baby jail right now–sorry, no pictures as I am still posting from school. Maybe soon….
That reminds me…the tears and hormones…one word of very important advice…
Unless you want to sound like a blubbering idiot…NEVER write thank-you notes for the first two weeks after birth! Just wait until you’ve gotten a little more sleep.
Yea well I saw/see/heard crying over much less so don’t feel too bad! Rollercoaster indeed! Just make sure Ben knows that he can’t do anything to help…NOTHING!
