• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

Mallory @ Four Months

Our baby girl is four months old! It seems impossible except for how much she is growing but I promise not to wander down that rabbit hole. Here are a few pictures from the other day. We are experiencing January weather, appropriately enough, and it’s cold! Most days Mallory and I hang out by the fire place and drink lots of tea and peppermint hot chocolate. At her 4 month check up, she weighed 11 pounds and 9 ounces and was a towering 24 inches, yes two feet tall. We are working on sleeping through the night. After our return from Houston, she didn’t want to eat during her 3am wake up. Now she just needs to be re-wrapped and given her pacifier and USUALLY it’s back to La La land. We are incredibly blessed and constantly amazed at this beautiful baby girl God had given us to love.

The hat is almost as cute as the little girl in it:) Glad things are going well in the Mankin household. Loved the pics of the Glisson duo…too much fun.

Amanda, she is a doll! I think the biggest change happens from 3 to 4 months. She’ll begin to be so much fun soon!! (I know she already is, but it keeps getting better and better, if that’s possible).

I can’t believe she’s four months already. Seems like just yesterday we were wandering around the fountian waiting for you to pop! Speaking of the fountain… Em will be the “Big 2” next month. Are you up for another session? :o)

The kissing picture is so cute and adorable and funny and gross all at the same time! But I guess they share germs every day! I know mine did. (11.5 months apt.)

Three Years?!?!?

Img_1230_copy

Now that the holidays are officially over, the decorations are down and all travel other’s and ours is complete, I feel like it’s time to change the holiday banner. You may, or not, remember the tulips from a previous banner–recycling seems to be a January theme. I just love tulips. They are beautiful and simple and classic. At Costco today I found tulips–yippee! It’s not really a new year until the tulips start arriving in the fresh flower bins at our local wholesale market. Other tulips, white tulips I photographed at the Bellagio several moons ago now grace the banner. Changing the titles, I realized this is the third year! Unbelievable really that this blog thing of mine is beginning it’s third year of life. It really astonishes me that #1 I still want to post, #2 there are interested parties who peruse said blog and #3 I have yet to lose interest! Amazing….here’s to year three. I wonder what it will bring?!?!
