    I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

Welcome to the new blog!! I am thrilled to share this space with you. But mostly I am SO happy to have a way to share BIGGER images!! Thrilled doesn’t come close to how I am feeling! Bear with me as I am learning the ins and outs of this new site. I am certain there will be a learning curve and that I will be adding little bits and new links along the way. Hello twenty twelve!!

This photo, and the ones in the slideshow, were taken last fall by Mary Rosenbaum. She followed us around downtown Franklin snapping away. To say that I am ecstatic with the results is an understatement! Thanks Mary, these ROCK!!

Winter Wonderland Art

These two masterpieces came home from preschool yesterday. Mallory came in wanting to show hers to me right away, “Mommy, this is me on the sled and this is Daddy pulling me and it’s snowing.” Mark, not to be outdone, immediately goes to his backpack indicating it’s his turn. We open his folder and out comes this beautiful and unique snowflake. Both were promptly photographed and added to the art door. I LOVE having their artwork. I finally understand why my parents insisted they’d rather have something I made than a bought gift.
