These little girls (plus one more) make up Mallory's dance class. Six of these girls started the year together and three others started later. Our scheduled time was 9:30, we got to start taking these at 10:30. The excitement had waned for several.
Sunday evening: after a too short nap and LOTS of excitement. More friends to play with and watch hunt eggs. Everyone had their own strategy: Mallory cared mainly about keeping her milk handy, Meg exchanged her lovely basket for a garden bucket and Lyssa wanted only "pretty eggs."
LOTS and LOTS of Easter fun. I will confess a desire to pack all the plastic eggs away for next year, I doubt Mallory will mind a bit.
Mallory has talked and talked and talked about wanting a purple backpack (just like Dora.) This purple backpack would not be complete without a map in it. I offered up the suggestion of asking the Easter Bunny for her purple backpack. Oh my, I was NOT prepared for her energetic response. For the past several weeks, much of her chatter has centered around Dora and her backpack, and asking the Easter Rabbit for Mallory's. We wrote the famed bunny a note and everything. Yes, she asked how would the Rabbit know?
She was ecstatic to come downstairs Easter morning and discover the Easter Rabbit did indeed bring her a purple backpack. And yes, it did have a map, two in fact. They were, of course, of Disneyland and California Adventure. She spent several minutes poring over the Disneyland map finding all her favorites, teacups, carousel, small world and the jungle cruise. Totally fun to watch her remember ๐
LOVE it! What a cutie!
Is that a cell phone holder in the front??
