• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

Martin Luther King Day

Mallory had a holiday from school, those pre-school classes are so stressful after all. And we ALL needed an outing. So Nonnie and I worked and worked to load the children, lunch and other accouterments into the car and met Aunt Jenn at the zoo. Zoo 003

The carousel is always a fun treat.

Zoo 002

And no visit to the zoo is complete without a session on the playground at the swings.

Zoo 001

A very successful outing complete with bottle feeding for a very wrapped Mark.

Thank you Nonnie and Aunt Jenn for making our zoo visit possible and LOTS of fun!

I love pictures of newborns in bookcases. LOVE THEM. It only seems right that I torture my newborn with his new bookcase. Love you sweet boy!

snow!!!

IMG_6112bmgsc1

It's snowing here! The snow began falling Thursday and it's still falling! It's really great snow, enough to play in but not enough to play havoc with travel plans. Mallory's friend at school told the whole class about snowball fights and she was ready to go out and play.

First we had a snowball making lesson.

Snow 003

Then we had a snowball throwing lesson.

Snow 002

And we discovered that keeping your eyes open helps!

Snow 001

And that practice helps too….

Sadly all our snowballs fell apart-no matter how hard we packed them together.

And there is no forgetting the birds…..

Snow 004

We are having a great time playing in the snow!! And will be glad when it warms up again ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Mankins! These photos are precious. I was just telling Ben I couldn’t wait to see Baby Mark’s feet, and here they are! Too cute. Thanks for updating us.
