a brief snapshot of our week:
Baby girl SERIOUSLY does not like onions or garlic in my food!!! Coming out of the fog, it takes her about three days to work it out of her system-three LONG days…and nights. I can’t believe she will be two weeks old on Monday! That was seriously fast.
This week we read the book, The Happiest Baby on the Block. A great read!! The reading was fine, points to the author for amusement, but the 5 S’s are really helpful–big "thank you"s to all who recommended this book! We also learned about the swing-three cheers for the battery operated swing! And I can’t forget to mention the bouncy seat–really, a superb invention.
By the way–my new goal for updating this blog will be 1-2 times a week. A reasonable goal for me.
Happy Friday!
Seriously cannot wait to see y’all tomorrow.
I love your fall banner! I never read that book but I think I saw the author on Oprah or Dr. Phil or something when Boo-boo was a newborn. He had a few bouts with gas and not liking something or another in my diet and I found those “S’s” really working for me!!
Sorry Mallory isn’t a fan of your foods! So, what are the 5 S’s anyway?
I swear by gas drops…Oval was the brand we used, but there’s one that starts with an M too? Anyways…worked great with Arden. Hope she’s doing better now ๐
Rachel
Will you crazy people just let me SLEEP!?!??
That’s better thank you very much
Sweet hand
We love you Darling little girl!
It is so my turn to hold her!

Yeah, Mallory pictures! She is adorable.. looks like you I think. Glad to see the pacifier is everyone’s friend.
Next you’re going to be saying, “Crazy baby, will you just let ME sleep!!”
๐
such a cutie!! I’m glad she is finally here and I hope you are doing well. Try to rest when you can and leave the housework to Ben:)
WOW. Shan and I just checked out these pics. You already know this, but she is breathtaking. Amanda, she looks so much like you. We have marveled a couple of times this morning at how lovely she is. We can’t wait to meet her, hug your necks, and finalize the papers for the arranged marriage.
That second shot is great! Where were you when Em was born???
Hope you all are adjusting well. Even with all the chaos, don’t you feel like the luckiest lady in the world?
Amanda, she’s beautiful! I’ve been waiting for pictures. Hope everything is well. Love the name!
Get some rest. Sleep when she sleeps, etc.
Congratulations.
What a sweet little foot! I learned the other day that all those sweet little ridges indicate she was fully developed when she was born. (Olivia didn’t have ridges on her feet, which we were told might have been part of her problem nursing–she was a bit immature, perhaps. Who would have known that?)
oh, amanda!!! she’s just beautiful. and from the pictures, i think she looks just like her sweet mama! i hope you’re feeling well, and are getting to rest when you can. take it all in and enjoy every second…it will go too fast! congrats, mommy! love you three!!!
Congratulations!!! She is precious….
Beautiful! Glad everything went well. Let us know if you need anything!

She is such a beautiful little girl! Congratulations! Our Ashlyn Grace was almost Mallory Grace. So, needless to say, I love the name! May God give you much rest!
Congratulations! She’s beautiful, and I love her name! I guess all went well if you got to go home today. I’ve been praying…

Congratulations! I’ve been anxiously awaiting the news. She’s beautiful. I’m so happy for you!! Blessings to you and your little family.
She’s named after a Vegas casino! That couldn’t be more perfect!! ๐
Precious!
Big congrats to you all!
She’s just beautiful. And tiny! And Mallory is our favorite name ever. Sounds especially good with “M” last names, I think. Can’t wait to meet her.
