• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

Gentry’s Farm

We finally made it to Gentry's Farm in Franklin this year. Now that I've seen it, I can't believe we haven't done this sooner! Mark was agreeable to posing with the pumpkins and hay, his sister was NOT.

We went on the hay ride and nagivgated the corn maze. The girls (we were there with friends) played in the tobacco barn turned children's maze, and watched the chickens and turkeys. Gentry collage 001

Mallory really wanted to pick her pumpkin from the field, so before leaving we tromped through all the dust looking at more pumpkins. I'm pretty sure that these pumpkins hadn't grown in this field.

If you haven't ever been, we highly reccomend it. I imagine we will be back next year!

First Bicycle + Helmet

Bike collage

After all the birthday hulabaloo Ben and I gave Mallory her present from us. Mark gave his sister the horn and streamers. We are trying to plan time to ride in the evenings before it's too dark, she's been asking to ride almost every night.

I met Sara online thru a friend…..I am SO GLAD we met! She is relativly new to Nashville and a delight to hang out with. We wandered around the Factory in Franklin and across the street to the totally cool Harlin Farm. A wonderful afternoon and I am totally over the moon happy with the result. Go check out her work. These really capture “family.” Your love and laughter shines through – Mallory is totally uninhibited by the camera and Mark is still figuring it out!
