• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

something fun

A few things that caught my eye over at flickr. It’s a cool place, if you have time to spend frivolously, or are in need of inspiration, or want to know that there are other people who are interested in the same things you are, it’s a great place! I always seem to find something that sparks my attention and often creativity as well.

So, can I ask? Do you have a flickr account? I’ve wondered about using it, but I’m not sure if I want to do it. Do you like flickr? Just curious what you think.

Remember

Remember

I love November and its Thanksgiving holiday. I love that we are reminded to stop and remember. Remember blessings. Remember laughter. Remember love.

Oh how I love that simple thought. It is such a good thing to pause and REMEMBER all the good in your life. I bought a plaque this year at a fall festival that says: THANKSGIVING: a time to gather and be thankful for our blessings. It also speaks to me about pauseing and taking the time to think about all our MANY blessings God has granted us.

Costume Party

Our neighbors have an annual costume party and everyone is expected to dress up. Last year, Mallory was adorable and her parents went "dressed" as the bedraggled parents of a newborn. Last weekend, we all managed to find costumes. I am thankful for the one year I participated in sing-song as my crayon costume actually won the "most creative costume" ribbon. Ben is suppose to be our Monkey’s zoo keeper.
