• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

One of the traditions that we have (that I LOVE) is decorating the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. Like as soon as the dishes are cleaned up. Our candycane tree is made possible by a wonderful decorator (my mother) and several fits by Tinkerbell (LOTS of glitter). It’s so cool. I smile or giggle and sometimes both, every time I see it. Mallory is (so far) doing great with all the Christmas decor. Never fear, only plush ornaments are within her arm range. She is practicing being gentle and using one finger to touch. It’s so much fun to see her delight and share in her enjoyment. May we all be blessed with the eyes of children.

What a great tradition! We still need to get ours up. Hopefully, tomorrow will be the day. I love your tree! What a cute tree topper! You and your mother must be talented decorators. I love all the pictures in your home. It’s beautiful.

Sweet girl–we had such a good day, I had you all to myself. Activities included sleeping late (almost 8am) hanging out in our pjs, reading books, playing peek-a-boo, lunching with the Gilmore Girls, venturing out into the windy sunshine, two good naps for you, more outdoor Christmas decorations put up for me, yummy dinner for two. Just us, all day…it’s been a very good day.

Awesome! Makes me want to watch ‘Cars’!

loving fall

Have I mentioned how beautiful this time of year is? I adore fall. The colors, the crispness, the clarity. Just love it. Yesterday, this great family let me "boss them around." I am so pleased with the results, I hope they are too!!
