• Here you will find the chronicles of our family of four. More pictures than words, I am most at home capturing our life with a still camera. Photos help me recognize the beauty and awesomeness in both the phenomenal people I live life alongside and this breathtaking place we live, planet earth.

I am a child of God. I am the wife to a wonderful man, mother to two amazing little people. I am both daughter and sister. I am a runner. I love to travel and read.

I often title this season of our life's adventure, The Continuing Adventures of Mallory Girl and Mark Boy. The photography is mine (unless otherwise noted.) Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading and adventuring alongside us.

snow day

We enjoyed watching the snow yesterday. It started falling about 7am and by nine looked like this.
Malory was delighted and couldn’t wait to go out.

The cold powdery stuff captivated her for three whole minutes.

She would collect a bit on her fingers and then transfer it to my jeans.

And then she freaked out. I guess having REALLY cold fingers wasn’t as much fun as anticipated.

is it sad that the only snow my kids have seen is the fake stuff at disneyland?

noses & eskimo kisses

She loves her nose, your nose, the noses of animals in books. Her fascination with noses started a while back but I caught these photos and want to remember this sweet season loving noses.

outside

We were back outside yesterday. We have been blessed with several beautiful sunny days and Mallory asks often to go out. So, out we go……

She’s discovered the lichen & moss growing in our back yard. Other families have grass, we have science projects (ha). She was fascinated by the fuzzy texture.
