Winter flowers


Winter seems to need color and after the Christmas decorations are put away, the front door looks naked. I started with a fresh container, after 6 years the other one was ready for retirement. I choose flowers (pansies) that also happen to be growing in my flower beds as well as some spiky yellow (forsythia) that I wish were growing in my yard. The hardest part by far, was stuffing the container with styrofoam.
