I’m amazed at the subtle (or not) differences between the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. Obvious difference #1: Sleeping Beauty’s Castle vs. Cinderella’s Castle.

What do we do first?!?!?

we still love the tea cups-in fact I like that the Disneyland version has these cool lantern things hanging from vines. It’s charming without the "ceiling."

another favorite: Dumbo. She started pointing and urging us closer (grunting) as soon as she spotted it.

DIsneyland has several new (to us) rides. An Alice in Wonderland ride. We were happy to have experienced it early as it was plagued by mechanical difficulties later in the morning. A "storybook boat ride "through minature villages of favorite characters. And from Dumbo, Casey’s Circus Train.

The carousel is currently under rehab so we headed "next door" to check out Disney’s California Adventure.

They have King Triton’s Carousel so we rode sea creatures on Paradise Pier.

Soooo cute! Thanks for all the photos. On the tea cups, her eyes look like they’re still spinning –well done 🙂
I can tell she really, really needs her Nonnie!

Good thing Scott didn’t know you were going. He would have probably asked if we could tag along with you. We both prefer Land to World!
