We had friends over to play and eat lunch…the little ones wanted to go outside. After a FEW minutes (like 3) Mallory wanted to go back inside and cried at how cold her hands got touching the doorknob. She went inside asking for help, as I followed her in, she asked for her scarf and mittens. This is a FIRST, last winter she was happy to wear coats, hats, mittens, anything I suggested was fine. Not so much this year! She has fought me all season over warm clothing. When she asked specifically for her scarf and mittens I was astounded and requested a quick photo of said items before heading back outside.
It's so much more fun to play when the cold isn't bothering you!
