This year's visit to mecca (WDW) began with a new place to stay, Old Key West. I can recommend the pool, it looked very cool and has a sandcastle water slide. The check in area is fun and fully themed and the rooms spacious. Mallory enjoyed the playgrounds and hunting for golf balls outside our room (golf course view). I will say it was odd having random golfers so close to our room and the shot that woke us early from our naps with a gunshot loud ball smacking the wall, not so fun.
Day 1: Magic Kingdom (where else?!?!)
we rode all the favorites: it's funny watching a group of 6 adults cater to the whims of a two-year old.
an almost family picture with NO faces 🙂
Mallory's first rollar coaster: much anticipated ride. "This is fun"
Another family tradition: picture in the stocks before lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.
a really great way to start the trip….yes there will be more to come.
So FINALLY!!! These are great! Didn’t want to beg for the posting, but I’ve been checking frequently!
FUN!! I love WDW…can’t wait to see more pics!
Yay!!
I usually make a point to visit the resort hotels around the holidays to see the way they get decorated in theme–I love that!–and get into a festive mood. You just made me realize I’ve never visited that one! Mental note.
Also, love the perspective of that first Dumbo photo! I’ve seen (and taken!) so many photos of WDW and it always amazes me when I see one in a perspective I haven’t seen before. =)
so when where you there? we just got back on saturday
