Our late summer visit to a Nashville treasure, the Bicentennial Park and its splash fountains.
We live in an amazing place. I forget that Nashville is the capital of Tennessee and go about my daily life as normal, then something incredible reminds me that we get to live in this super cool place. Like for instance this splash park at the foot of the capital building. Many of our friends started preschool last Friday and Thursday we celebrated a great summer with a visit to the fountains. I hadn't taken Mallory there before and as she is a bit suspicious of all things that sprinkle water, our view much of the time was from afar.
I imagine next time we will play in the water more. Perhaps we will go again before we attempt preschool which, for us, begins after Labor Day.
