Egg hunt recap

Mallory is getting to be quite the hunter-gatherer. She participated in 5 organized egg hunting events (playgroup, school, church, neighborhood, and finally at an Easter dinner gathering at a friends' home.) This is leaving out dozens of at home egg hunts she initiated. It's almost embarrassing how many eggs she has piled in her basket at the conclusion of these events. I'm considering a cap on the number of eggs she can pick up next year. This photo is from our church's eggstravaganza. A spectacular event that was to be held outside until we all woke up to tornado warnings and heavy thunderstorms. No one seemed to mind hunting indoors. Sadly, the noise of all the children and parents inside a concrete building was too much for our little ones and they left soon after the hunt. I stayed to help other children with no auditory sensitivities decorate eggs.

Easter 001

A big thank you to Ms. Lisa for taking this picture of the three of us. Mark was nearby happily chewing on his fists in a corner (yes, he was safely buckled into his carseat atop his stroller and out of harms-I mean hunters' way.) And where else do you hide eggs in the youth room but on the pool table!?!?!
