John Mark turned 3 in mid December. We celebrated with a pirate party in late January. He talked about it constantly before hand. In fact, he was convinced that he didn’t turn 3 until we arrived at the bounce house. I’m so glad he’s “officially” three. According to our pediatrician, he’s the size of the average 4 year old and Mallory is enjoying being taller than her younger brother while she can. He is obsessed with pirates and Jeeps. We are forced to call out “ahoy” anytime we see a Jeep on the road. Mark LOVES shows, Backyardigans and Jake and the Neverland Pirates rank high on the list of entertainments. He is quite an accomplished puzzles worker and wants to read books constantly. Our sweet little guy doesn’t seem to need as much sleep as his sister-one of my life’s griefs! And is sleeping in a big boy bed with a “light up clock” of his very own. He insists he will be an excavator driver when he grows up and is looking for an acceptable dump truck driver if anyone wants a job!
Happy third birthday little guy!! We adore you!
What a fabulous party!! And what a difference a few months make – he certainly didn’t want to participate in oversize inflatables last summer!!
