I ADORE having the opportunity to worship and participate and experience the body of Christ–His Church. So often, we the body are a hindrance to the "furthering" of the cause of Christ. But as I sit here in the control room at Crossroads Christian Church in Lexington, surrounded by believers that are committed to following their hearts, walking the walk not just sitting back watching passively as life passes them by, it feels good. In fact it feels GREAT. The people, the hearts, the music, the experience, the participation even in a "I’m just here to watch and encourage" way. It seems right. It feels like a small hint-a taste of what, just maybe, the church was intended to be. Loving people, supporting each other, walking together on this road of uncertainty. One step at a time, no map that I can hold, no itinerary, no schedule or list of "to do" that I have anything to do with-or control. It’s just good to be–be with God’s people, to watch, and feel and be.
