The week started off with children asleep in the car before we got home from church. This is historic, my children don’t sleep in their car seats unless they are sick (Mallory) or immobilized for over 6 hours (John Mark.) In this case, Mallory had a fever we didn’t catch before heading off to church and Mark apparently lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of his sister’s snores. Monday found me at Ben’s office playing photographer.
Mallory sweetly asked Mark if he would sit with Lily (her doll) for pictures. Mark agreed readily when BowWow (his favorite puppy) was included as well. The week included pajama day at pre-school and once home, the children wanted to play in the backyard (mud) so after changing into rain boots, out they went. Fun was enjoyed by all!
Mallory and I went on a date Saturday. The local toy store was having a Lego Friends event and as Mallory is currently obsessed, it seemed like a perfect outing for the two of us.
Wow, totally sacked out!
John Mark posing for Mallory is beyond wonderful. When did he start getting so big???
Big fan of pajama day. Maybe we’ll institute that here too.
