The nursery is almost done. I keep saying that, I know, but it’s always true. After the 36 week checkup Friday, I ran a few more baby errands. The net result is frames for the ledges in the nursery and a jumper for Baby Girl’s first Christmas. Can I tell you how much fun it is to think about Christmas with a little one!!!! I am just over the moon, ok, that could be the hormones, but it’s way more fun to think about her and surprises than how swollen my feet/legs/hands are.
I digress…frames, SO FUN. I am in the process of acquiring photos of
our family as infants. My grandparents are AMAZING historians and I
have several photos of them as infants–totally adorable.
William Taylor Reynolds–ages young and younger 🙂
Billie Jeayne Starr–small and smaller
Thank you Granddaddy for sending those files to me!! I can hardly wait to see them printed and framed in your first great-granddaughter’s room.
Other nesting news: we painted the entry last weekend. I have loved this cocoa paint named, Sweet Georgia Brown for years now. Last weekend Ben decided all by himself–I promise–that we needed to paint the entry. Thankfully I already had picked the color. Now I know for certain that I want the family room to be the same warm cocoa shade. Maybe next weekend?!?!

The new camera. Benjamin surprised me with a 30D yesterday. I thought it ironic that it was given to me the same day I acquired more empty frames. (Ben has this odd disliking for empty picture frames hanging on the wall.) All I can say is YIPPEE!!!! I am anxious to try it out on little girl, whenever she presents herself for introductions 🙂 For now, you and I will have to make do with pictures of the freshly painted entry.
All the frames look so cute, and I love that Sweet Georgia brown. thanks for the update… scallop away 🙂
Will you please come and decorate my house?! You clearly have an “eye”. I don’t. Love the paint, love the frames, love the old pictures….wonderful!
loooove that brown with the red accents – excellent!
