September 4th. How will you spend your Labor Day weekend? We have chosen projects at the house. Saturday and Sunday found us painting the family room, it’s now the same warm cocoa as the entry, yummy! Today we have several more items to check off, first on the list is a long walk and breakfast from chef Ben. Last night for dinner we had a biscuit contest, Ben’s buttermilk version vs. the sweet milk version my great-grandmother made. Being the loyal one I am, they were both excellent, and I am happy to test them again anytime!
